This Billing Policy explains how paying for Sanry works: plans, credits, renewal, cancellation, refunds and tax. Sanry is operated by PT Sanry Teknologi Ananta, incorporated in the Republic of Indonesia. It forms part of our Terms of Service (section 7 governs plans, credits and fees) and is read with our Privacy Policy.
1. Who bills you
Orders for Sanry are processed by our reseller Dodo Payments (dodopayments.com), the merchant of record for every purchase (the “Merchant of Record”). It takes the payment, issues your invoice, remits any sales tax or VAT, and processes refund requests on our behalf; we never receive your card number.
Buying a plan therefore puts you in a contract with Dodo Payments for that purchase, on its Buyer Terms. The Merchant of Record’s name, not ours, appears on your receipt and card statement.
2. Plans and billing periods
Sanry is sold as a subscription. Each paid plan — currently Entry, Core, Plus and Max — unlocks its features and grants a fixed number of credits a month. A new account receives 40 free credits, which are not a purchase. Choose a billing period at checkout:
- Monthly. Charged on the same date each month.
- Yearly. Charged once for twelve months at the discounted annual rate.
The period you pay for is your “Billing Period”; credits are granted monthly under both (section 3).
3. Credits
3.1 Monthly allocation
The units the Service consumes to generate an image, a video clip or copy are “Credits”. Your plan’s allotment is granted to your balance every month, on yearly billing as well as monthly. What an action costs is shown in the app before you run it.
3.2 Expiry and no roll-over
Credits do not roll over. When the next month’s grant lands, your balance is reset to your plan’s allotment and any Credits left unused expire: the grant is a reset, not an addition.
3.3 Failed generations
If a generation fails, the Credits charged for it are returned automatically. You do not need to ask, so a failed generation is not a reason for a refund of money.
3.4 No cash value
Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for money. A refund under this Policy returns your payment; it does not buy Credits back.
4. Renewal
A subscription renews automatically at the end of each Billing Period, at the plan and price then in effect. YOUR SUBSCRIPTION RENEWS AUTOMATICALLY UNTIL YOU CANCEL IT, AND A CANCELLATION ONLY STOPS A RENEWAL IF IT IS MADE BEFORE THE RENEWAL DATE. A cancellation after a renewal is charged applies from the end of the period that renewal paid for.
5. Cancellation
Cancel at any time from Settings → Manage subscription, or from the link in your receipt email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the Billing Period you have paid for: your plan and the Credits already granted stay available until that date, and no further payment is taken. Cancelling does not delete your account or work; deletion is a separate request, under our Privacy Policy.
6. Changing your plan
Upgrades take effect immediately. The charge is prorated — you pay the difference between the plans for the rest of the period — and the new plan’s monthly Credits are granted at once.
Downgrades take effect at the end of the period. You keep your plan and its Credits until the Billing Period ends, and the smaller allotment begins at the next renewal; the difference is not refunded. Switching between monthly and yearly billing follows the same rule.
7. Refunds
7.1 The 14-day window
The first payment on a new subscription is refundable in full if you ask within 14 days of the charge and the condition in 7.2 is met. The 14 days run from the charge date on your receipt.
7.2 The unused-credit condition
That refund is available only while none of the Credits the payment granted have been used. Once any are spent the payment is no longer refundable, because the generation they paid for has been delivered. Credits returned under 3.3 do not count as used.
7.3 Renewals
Renewal payments are generally not refundable, including a renewal you meant to cancel but did not cancel in time. If you believe a renewal was charged in error — you cancelled and were billed anyway, or were charged twice — raise it within 14 days and we will review it and correct our mistake.
7.4 Credit packs
One-time Credit packs, where we offer them, follow the same rule: refundable within 14 days while none of their Credits have been used.
7.5 Your statutory rights
Nothing here reduces your rights under the consumer law that applies to you; where that law gives a stronger right to cancel or to a refund, it applies.
8. How to request a refund
- Open the receipt — it is in the confirmation email Dodo Payments sent you, and under Settings → Manage subscription → Billing History.
- Write to hello@sanry.app from the address you paid with, quoting the payment reference and one line on why you are asking.
- We raise the refund with Dodo Payments and confirm by email once it is on its way.
We reply to billing questions and refund requests within 3 business days. An approved refund goes back to the original payment method, and how soon it appears depends on your bank. Without a receipt, email hello@sanry.app and we will find the payment.
9. Prices, currency and tax
Prices are listed and charged in US dollars; your bank converts them if your card is in another currency. The price at checkout is the one that applies to you. Sales tax or VAT is added on top where your country requires it, collected and remitted by Dodo Payments as the Merchant of Record, and the total is shown before you confirm.
10. Price changes
We may change our prices, and what an action costs in Credits. We will tell you before a price change takes effect, and it applies from your next renewal, never to a period already paid for. A change to Credit costs applies to future usage only. If you do not accept a change, cancel before it takes effect.
11. Failed payments and chargebacks
If a renewal payment fails, the Merchant of Record retries it over the following days and emails you, and the subscription is marked past due. If it is still unpaid the subscription ends: the plan’s features and monthly Credits stop and the account returns to the free tier, with your work intact.
If a charge looks wrong, use the request in section 8 before opening a chargeback with your bank — it is almost always faster. While a dispute is under review the payment may be held and we may pause access to the account.
12. Exclusions
No refund is available for:
- Credits already used, including on output you were not satisfied with;
- renewal payments, subject to the review in 7.3;
- the free Credits granted on signup, which are not a purchase;
- payments where we or the Merchant of Record identify fraud, refund abuse or chargeback misuse; or
- accounts we terminate for breaching our Terms of Service; the remainder of the period is not returned.
13. Contact
