    Open-source notices

Sanry is operated by PT Sanry Teknologi Ananta. Last updated: 3 October 2026.

Sanry's web application runs some open-source software in your browser. This page names the components whose licences ask us to tell you about them, and where to get their source code.

    1. Mediabunny

Used by the video editor (Studio) to read your clips and save the finished video in your browser. Licensed under the Mozilla Public License 2.0. Source code: github.com/Vanilagy/mediabunny. We use it unmodified.

    2. FFmpeg AAC encoder (through @mediabunny/aac-encoder)

Some browsers cannot save sound in the AAC format by themselves. For those browsers the editor loads a WebAssembly build of the AAC encoder from FFmpeg (libavcodec 62.23.103), packaged as @mediabunny/aac-encoder (Mozilla Public License 2.0). The FFmpeg code in it is licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License, version 2.1 or later.

    • It is loaded as its own unmodified file, only when you save a video in a browser that needs it.
    • FFmpeg's source code is at github.com/FFmpeg/FFmpeg, and the exact build recipe is in the package's README.
    • On request we will send you the complete source code of the version we serve. Write to hello@sanry.app.
    • You may modify this component and reverse engineer it to debug your modifications, as its licence allows. Our Terms of Service do not restrict that.
